Don't have diabetes
I had a repeat HBA1C done this week. Today I got the results. It's 35. In December it was 40 and it sent me into high anxiety as I am already struggling with hypothyroidism and high cholesterol.

So thank you all so much. I am following a vegan diet and can now continue it worry free.

You've all been so kind.

Good luck to you all.

Yes if you don't feel you need us now that's OK best wishes for the future and all that. But there may be some here who need you now and in the future.and you are welcome to stay and be part of our community diabetic or not.

Best regards John.

Wow! Tremendous result you should be very proud of that achievement and how excited and inspiring that is for all who frequent this great forum.
It is addictive this place and I have spent a bucketload of time on here this year (and it has been fantastic) so I understand if you feel you need a break. However, you should continue on here as much as you want or can as you have walked the talk and can add so much to this wonderful resource
Congratulations

Thank you.

I appreciate your kindness.

I was near pre diabetic and very worried, hence the re test I decided to go for 4 months later. In the last 4 months I changed my diet, not that it was bad before but I changed things alot by going vegan and not eating low carb at all. I am really pleased with todays result.

I just wasn't sure whether to stick around with me not being a diabetic in the first place ;-)

Sometimes all it takes is a nudge it the right direction, healthy eating rather than highly processed food, and your vegan diet will fit that bill. :)
