What type am I?

Is mine classify as T2?
I had one third pancrease taken off 20 years ago because of overproduction of Insulin.
Now I do not have enough Insulin.
What should mine be classified under? Type 3
Can anyone tell me?

Wow. Excuse my "grey area" on this sort of thing. What's the "back story" on this? Sounds a drastic measure??

Yeh, not sure that would be classed as type 2. I would've thought type 3c as well. Although type 2 can have insulin deficiency which is what I have. But the fact you've had surgery previously on your pancreas probably means yours is secondary as @Squire Fulwood mentioned above.

Are you sure your doctor's didn't diagnose you with hyperinsulinaemia?
That is too much insulin in your blood.
Now you are similar to the other types of diabetes, but which one I'm not too sure.
Can you ask your medical team?
