Cold affecting Blood Sugar levels.

I have had quite a bad cold this week, blocked nose etc. It has put up my BG levels by 1 - 1.5 usually they are in the 5s. How long is a piece of string, sorry, how long will it take for my levels to go down again. I have my annual review in 3 weeks time, I hope it hasn't scuppered my levels.

It shouldn't really screw with your Hba1c test as it is an average over the last three months, and anyway, you can tell your GP/dsn that you've had a cold.
Did you take any cold/flu remedies from the chemist?
It shouldn't be more than a week to get back down to normal. Unless you've fell off the wagon!!!!!
