Euro 2016 Football

Both ITV and BBC have all the games on live, so you can watch them, unless you haven't paid your license fee!

Squad down to 23 tomorrow, there will be some debate about those left out especially seeing that there are a few carrying knocks and haven't got the match fitness they will need especially if it's hot!

We should get out of the group stage, we are good enough and depending on Woy's selection we should do quite well. But there is definitely no easy games, this is probably the hardest one to call since Greece won back in 2004.

I just hope it's a good competitive tournament without theorists spoiling it!
As to who will win, I will have to study up on the teams and see if it's worth a few Bob on an outsider.
You can never rule out the hosts or Germany, Spain will get out of the group stage but can they repeat their success, I doubt it. Italy, no, so who?

Can the both Ireland's do well and what about Wales, they are in form but can they be good enough to get out of the group stage?

Tell you in a couple of weeks before it starts!

The bookies favourites are Belgium.

And I must put the mockers on them because having looked at the way it should pan out for them, I have a sneaky feeling for them to at least get to the final.

But that could have been my gammon and salad and pickle I had for my tea!

Excellent stuff :D

I'm (hopefully, French strikes permitting) going to a couple of matches in Lyon, can't remember which ones lol, but defo not England!

Just checked...I'm going to Ukraine v Northern Ireland and Belgium v Italy.

Good luck hope you enjoy them both though you should be supporting your own country you know :D
Well we went in the first ballot, so we didn't know which tickets we would get. Our sons have some England tickets and we tried to get some too but failed.

Well the squad announcement and of course the expected picks were chosen and the two who really deserved to be going were left, while unfit and injury hit and match unfit players were chosen.
Think the choices were political rather than taking in form players, no surprise there.
Interesting fact, that for the first time since early seventies that we're taking only one player from the champions.
Too many prima donnas for me in team, and of course the club's they play for is more important than form!
Lay you ten to one Henderson starts first game! Even at the expense of Dele Alli!
And Smalling will start of course!
Wilshire maybe!

If it goes by form, the three spurs lads should play in a four four two but I can't see it myself!

I'm waffling, as I think the omission of the Leicester lad is shocking!

I'm thinking it'll be Hart, Clyne, Smalling, Cahill, Rose, Deir, Milner or Wilshire, Alli, Rooney, Kane, Vardy.

Ok, on the eve of the Euro footie kicking off tomorrow.
Here is my top four to contest the semi-finals.

1. Belgium
2. France
3. Germany
4. England.

I do think Belgium will win it!
If England can stop the goals going in, I think a semi final place is a reality.
But Woy has to pick the right players and not listen to the media and pundits.

Hope everyone enjoys the games and its a good competition!

Spain are after 3 euros on the trot and I'm sure they will be on the radar

Fancy a shock nation to get out of the group stages too will be interesting to see how Iceland do remember they beat the Dutch home and away in qualifying

As for those closer to home please let England and Wales get through

Also the 2 Ireland's but they are in tough groupd
