Hi guys,

I inject between 75 and 85u in a 24 hr period, on basal/bolus . So I am constantly needed to rotate sites to avoid lumps, I currently inject in my stomach, legs and bum when I have to! Does anyone know of other sites. Thanks
Fred

I used to use my arms for boluses sometimes. It's awkwrd but I kind of squashed them against a doorframe as I usually pinch up to inject but that's wasn't possible as I only have the one pair of arms!

I also tried the side of my waist for boluses.

This is just what I did - you may need to do differently - but I basically injected directly on the side of my waist and about 2cm either way, if that makes any sense? It's not a perfect spot (for me) but it allowed me to do quick boluses, especially when I was out and about.

We're all different, so all you can do is try. When you do try a new area, watch out for the insulin being absorbed differently and check your blood sugar often

I did my Levemir last night level with my hips on my waist, all went well, reasonable painless and my bloods are normal.
Thanks guys another mini Triumph!
