Hi, I am type 2 Diabetic. I get so confused with what you can and cannot eat. Some days seem very gloomy as I try to stick to natural food. I seem to have got into a habit though, I realize it is high carb, but my childhood security food was Rice Krispies, so this is what I have before I go to bed. Not ideal, but to be honest, between having damaged my hip falling on ice and developing osteoarthritis, and prolapsing two lower discs in my spine, I get very low. the Rice Krispies make me feel like I am having a little treat. Trouble is though, in the morning, I wake up sweating, feeling extremely anxious ( almost to the point of panic) and I am so depressed now. Please could I ask that you give me some comforting, healthy options to replace my little security Rice Krispies.

The long term pain doesn't help the situation, so I guess waking up in pain and having impeded mobility doesn't help my state of mind.
