Diabetic Craft Club

Trouble is, before I actually use any fabric, wool or beads, or stones - I have collected even more to replace them with .. my various stashes are growing and I have decided this year I will make a lap quilt that I can snuggle up to during the winter, but - I just keep buying fabric bundles of various types and cannot make up my mind exactly what I want to do ..... perhaps squares made from circles (expensive template purchased) ... a drunkards path quilt .... or a nickle and dime quilt (template purchased from USA) .... half the groups I follow on FB are de-stash and/or fabric related

Why not make one of each?

I like your thinking .... in the hundreds of tabs I have open, I have one shopping cart with 4 bundles of fat quarters open ready for purchase ... just in case ....

Get a knitting machine. Will use up your yarn in no time!:)

My sister has a knitting machine for me stored away in her garage - I really don't have the room to have it here unfortunately .... under the bed is already taken with plastic containers and even my shoe boxes make way for crafting stashes .... I really need more space

Reducing my stashes is not an option :D

I use the 40 stitches small one.

Ahhhhh .... I had not thought of ones like that - now that is a possibility .... What kind of things do you make with it? I also have a few of the round loom knitting ones ....

I'd not have thought of that as a knitting machine either......

With imagination, you can knit anything! Just a lot of seaming. Like this one I didn't have enough stitches to do the whole front so I broke it into 3 separate pieces and sewed them together.

I have been busy making trousers this week. I also have loads of fabric and beads and have finally used some black linen I bought years ago

Haven't made trousers for years. Hubby couldn't find any reasonably priced trousers for job interviews so I unpicked his old faithful, comfy, falling apart jeans, used them as pattern with some black material I already had and all I needed to buy was the zip (had some black knitted? nylon I used for the pocket bags).....must be 30 yrs ago
