2016/17 Football Season

Well, Saints beat Burnley 3-1, and so they flipping well should. If we can't win matches like that we will really be in deep doo-doo :)

The only match that sky has openly rated as the only game this weekend is living up to its hype!

Yes, it's a boring nil-nil bore draw half time!

There's nowt else on!

I'm half watching it!
Listening to my music.
Reading the forum!
Writing this!

Who said we can't do more than one thing at a time?

Finished nil-nil!
The air time and money wasted on this ninety minutes, beggars belief!

Last night I decided I'd watch the "Big Game" and yet again it was such a let down. Always seems that these games end up being so rubbish, too much to lose. More often than not it is much better watching the games between the lesser sides.
My team are Dundee and after relegating our very near neighbours somebody thought it would be a great idea to cash in on our two star players and we prop up the table. Hopefully we start picking up points soon.
My English team that I always like to watch and have been to see a couple of times are Newcastle. Sorry @johnboy412000 hopefully they finish above you in the table but I would also like to see Huddersfield get up as well!

What do you mean by lesser teams!
The lower the league the more like 'proper' footie you get.
Real battles, real quality, real tackles, bad refs, proper grass muddy pitches, standing on the terraces, concession burger vans, quality pies, freezing stands, brick wall toilets! Decent local pubs!
What more do you want?

Exactly, the "Glamour" games usually end up being terrible.
I've been a Dundee fan for my whole life, I know what rubbish football is like :D

Inter Milan tonight, in the Europa League. Irrespective of how far they get, Saints have done themselves proud and are leading their group right now.

Man City at the Emptihad at the weekend  I'm going to stick my neck out and say it'll be a draw......
