What is your control like on a daily basis? A higher HbA1C suggests your BS isn't in range as much as it should be.

Speak to,your DSN to see if they have any suggestions. If you look through your BS results you should see times when you go high and then you can try to,reduce those highs with the help of your team.

Newly diagnosed? (Relatively.) could be "honeymoon" period over?? Just a guess....
