Hi All,
I was talking to a friend today who has been diabetic for 10 years now; I had no idea. She attended a Diabetic get together yesterday and was told that the Government was going to withdraw funding from the Ex-pert course through out the country. I'm not sure about any where else, but this is the only Diabetic course they run here. Concerned to here this as I feel any of these courses can only help to improve diabetes awareness and help the likes of me (newly diagnosed) understand about this condition. I've only heard good things about it so why withdraw this service? Does anyone else know anything about this whisper?
