Given I take a few supplements as stated below, I read they can interfere with medication so I am switching taking them all at lunchtime, 4 hours after breakfast, when I don't take medication. Do others do the same?

Op says she has read that they could interfere with medication.

I know she did. I can read. ;)

I suggested that if they interfere with her medication why was she taking them. If they don't interfere with her medication then she has no worries about when to take them. If they can interfere with un-named medication then a good idea would be to check which ones.

I have read certain supplements are best taken 2-4 hours post certain medications! I am just seeing if others take their supplements at lunchtime when they don't take medication!

Right, I can read as well and you did not write the above when I quoted.

A fair question, lets hope you can some useful helpful answers, good luck :)

The only supplement I take at the moment is Adcal+D3 on prescription I take one in the morning and one in the evening both on a full stomach.

Well yes I take medication in the morning during the day and in the evening. I take about seven different medications in the morning comprising about 20 tablets but only about 3 or four tablets in the evening I take the Adcal at about the same times as the meds.

Err thats not counting my inhalers as they are inhaled rather than ingested. :)

Cheers!

I take a High Strength Cod Liver Oil and take that just before my evening meal.

What I am attempting to do is find out whether taking them alongside medication is detrimental to the efficacy of the medication!

Why don't you ask your pharmacist they can tell you any contraindications on all meds and supplements - or google the meds you are on individually for patient info

Too lazy and thought people's experience here would be more valid!
