Insulin not working?

Hello I'm just wondering if you have any suggestion on what I could do, my blood keeps going up but the insulin I'm taking doesnt seem to be working, I'm not sure if I should take anymore incase it hits me all at once.
I woke up on 8.8 then an hour later I'm on 20 and rising. I've taken my normal dosages and correction.. Any suggestion? Thank you x

What insulin are you on? I've had this happen a few times, change the cartridges and maybe switch where you are injecting?

It's always worth changing the insulin if there's no other explanation for the rising bg levels.

I would definitely second the suggestion to change cartridge and injection site, but also what have you eaten? I ask because when I have weetabix, an hour later I can easily get up to the mid 20s and keep going until about 4 hours later (which is why I don't eat weetabix any more!)

Change the cartridge for sure. Don't inject any more insulin in case you stack it and suddenly go low. If I'm above 13, any correction dose takes about 2 and 1/2 hrs to begin to,work, so be patient.
