2016/17 Football Season

Barnsley broke our winning streak. Still a 1-1 draw is better than losing. Getting interesting now. Next up is the big game replay with Man City live on BBC1 Wednesday night. Then comes Newcastle on Sky Sports 1 next Saturday. :D

Blimey Carlisle got hammered that's bad luck Cumberland :(

Not sure what Tranmere have done the result isn't showing. ?

Noblehead's lot don't really need another bit of silverware. The last thing we got was the Johnson's Paint Tophy :D

It must be a shocking division if Leeds, Huddersfield and Sheffield Wednesday are vying for a place in the premier league!

Well, we lost in the end, although even José Mourinho said that it should have gone to extra time and, if it had, we might well have taken them.

Saints have nothing to be ashamed of and, in my opinion, were the better side for most of the game. Unfortunately we didn't have Ibrahimovic and we did have a referee who would have benefitted from a visit to Specsavers (well, Matt le Tiss thinks that the first goal shouldn't have been disallowed, and who am I to doubt the holy word of Le God? :D)

That Gabbiadini's good, innee? :cool:

Tis our big night tomorrow. Not expecting us to win but you just never know with cup games. At least its going to be on telly. We are doing well for telly games this season. Newcastle game is also on telly Saturday teatime and we have another game later in March also on the telly. :D

Tranmere postponed must have had a lot of rain up there.

Newcastle beat Brighton its certainly swings and roundabouts for those 2. Hopefully we can thump Newcastle on Saturday teatime. Getting excited about tonight's game I'm sure they will give a good show. :D

Oh yeah, lots of rain and snow as well! (We don't do snow!) The pitch was swamped!
The groundstaff couldn't do anything possible to get the game on, never stopped raining all day! So I watched the Brighton- Newcastle game! Not the same!

Unlucky Carlisle! Could have done with a result there!
