2016/17 Football Season

@zand, the Gooners are going from one of the best playing surfaces in British football, to a plastic monstrosity! Not good enough for professional football!

It is awful, close up, there is better at our youth club!
Yes, better changing rooms in our youth league too.

You have no idea they were before they improved them for your visit!
Worst in league! No hot water and its absolutely freezing in the changing room regardless of the temperature outside. Reminds me of other public gentlemen conveniences that are offered around the country! Disgusting!
Definitely a culture shock in more ways than one!

The One Show showed the dressing room earlier for Arsenal, 3 urinals and 4 showers and one didn't work :D

Fair play to Sutton U, they did well and that 25 yard shot that hit the bar would have been a cracker had it gone in.

Yes I saw that! I'm happy with 2-0, job done. Just want my family safely back home now.

Big game for us tonight. Home to Reading. A win or Draw keeps us in 3rd A win for them and they go 3rd. To make matters worse Sheff Weds play as well and they are just 3 points behind us. On a brighter note we have a game in hand over both Reading and Weds. Also we are 10 ahead of 7th Placed Norwich so a bit of breathing space and a play off place is starting to look sweet. UTT

Good luck Tranmere hope you whop Boreham.

The FA Cup fifth-round replay between Manchester City and Huddersfield on Wednesday, 1 March will be shown live on BBC One.

The Terriers, third in the Championship, held Premier League side City to a goalless draw in the original game at John Smith's Stadium.

The only replay from the fifth-round draw will kick off at 19:45 GMT.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Lincoln, Manchester United, Middlesbrough, Millwall and Tottenham are all already through.

That's made my day has that. Should be cracking game and could well go to extra time and even the dreaded penalty shoot out. :watching::D

We got Pompey on Saturday at BP I can't go though
Picking our son up from Newcastle he's coming here for the weekend and on Monday he's going to China for at least 6 months working in British Embassy in Beijing

That'll be nice for him.
We got a Yorkshire derby on Saturday Barnsley at Oakwell. The Oakwell nutters :D:D

A good win but didn't set the world on fire! Fifteen minutes and two goals up, game over but only just! Keeps us in contention and those with us at the top all won as well!

Back to cup on Saturday, home to Barrow, should be very good and hoping for a win, but as always, you never know!

Another big game for us today. A Yorkshire derby away to Barnsley. Can we make it 7 wins in a row last time we did that was January 2004. It sure would be a nice feeling. UTT :D

Good luck to everyone else that's playing today. Hope you get a win. :)
