Weekly weigh in - Fridays

Rainbow, I've just been catching up with this thread, and have to comment that you have lost a whole one of me, the a third as much again!! I bet you wouldn't fancy carrying me around 24/7, never mind me and a small child.

You must feel fabulous. Very, very well done.
An excellent message for @rainbow79 and all of us. When weight is put into this context somehow it feels more real... Bless you though, you must be tiny!!:):)

I might start weighing twice a week @Contralto . See if I can catch this water retention on the hop?
This morning I'm 131.60kg so 1.10kg lighter than friday's weigh-in but 3.2kg lighter than my last monday weigh-in for FLO.
I checked twice so no fluke!
Water retention is visible but weighing less. Seeing cardiologist who weighed me in november next month so we'll see.
Not seeing dn for at least 6wks to compare their weight.
Stopped metformin resumed on 1twice a day instead of 2.
So 131.60-131.70kg my new weight for a loss measurement.
At least 6lb loss since november. :) Just metformin and careful carbs. Reintroduced porridge. :)

Ickihun, clearly as an adult, you will choose to do as you wish, but can I ask you to outline your rationale for reintroducing porridge to your diet, when you had just seemed to find a balance allowing you to gradually lose weight, or was the reintroduction of porridge before your most recent weight loss?

I know you have a lot going on, but many folks find such an issue with oats, and particularly so at breakfast time.

Well done Vicky. I appreciate that this is very complicated for you, and difficult for you to see improvement. But you know your diet is good and you are careful so underneath all these other complications you are going tin the right direction.Hugs and whoops to you for your achievements so far.:joyful::joyful:

I'm 160cm/5'3" and wear a UK Size 6. I weigh 48kg +/-1kg. I'm a compact little person. :)
Well you and I should stand next to each other. I passed your height at about 11 years old:hilarious::hilarious:. I'm 181.5cm (refuse to be 190 - 6ft) as I always hated being so tall as a kid my dad (6ft 4) always used to say small is beautiful, but big is better:hilarious::hilarious::hilarious: (I couldn't possibly say this now of course;). You're compact. I'm just large:D:D

I should have said. Not for breakfast. Porridge when I'm hungry but at a mealtime. Eggs are my main breakfast food.
I only have 3 meals but on occasion have had porridge due to waiting for a shop.
I've restarted porridge for 3-4 weeks now. Awaiting a cardio dietician to advise further. Insulin injections love porridge.
I'm no longer trying to reduce insulin just weight loss, for now. I know how to reduce insulin but my insulin resistance bounces around too much to keep level. No sports at mo. If activity was at my normal level maybe no insulin too, probably! I was so close. :(

Thank you @callyandy .
Somehow im losing. It must be metformin but im taking just 2 a day now instead of 4. Unless tramadol helps you lose weight? Less pain so moving around more.
My appetite has gone to be honest. After eating processed food in times of little money, id rather do without. Ive stopped cheese, cream and nuts. Oh and my multivitamins. Heart beat is still fast. You would think a fast beat would help me get around faster? Nope!
No alcohol since my grandmothers funeral, spring last year. Very little in so intestines shrinking. Stomach probably too. I just hope my status stays like this.... losing.

Thanks for sharing Vicky. It gives us a clue as to what you're dealing with. You're amazing. Keep going honey.

Hello all, thought I was going to get HbA1c tested today, but didn't happen, but got weighted. 77.1kg :). Happy, lost a kg, BMI 23.3 so normal (as much as I will ever be "normal":hilarious::hilarious:. Thanks to you all for your kind words. The support flying round this forum should be bottled. We'd all make a fortune!!:D:D. Keep it up guys, even struggling together is better than alone....

Weighed today 8st 12lbs so a loss of 0.6lbs, not sure why a slight loss but still maintaining so happy, don't want to be loosing anymore as to date have lost just over 10st in 20 months. Well done to all who have lost, maintained or gained this week :)
Literally less than half the person you used to be. Staggering achievement, no doubt accomplished by hard work and most of all perseverance.

I lost 0.5kg, from 79.4 kg to 78.9 kg, which is exactly on target. After my plateau during my trip to Paris, I am now back on track. Yay!

8.8 kg lost so far this year, and I have officially lost the 10% my doctor recommended. Now for the next 10%.

Happy weekend to you all , hope everyone is fine and do not have pain .

Well not so good for me looks like I have gone up 2 kg , guessing some of it is water retension in my muscles that really hurt after very much .But I also have had a hard time eating low calories so maybe I have hit a limit where from I keep weight on instead of loosing .
