Hi,

New to pumping :) I've got the animas vibe, I want to place an order for my infusion sets etc, just wondering how people get theirs delivered and how long it takes? I work Monday to Friday 9-5 sometimes 9-9 and weekends and would be interested to see how other people make sure they get their deliveries?

I'm not sure of her process for ordering supplies, but I know @azure uses an Animas Vibe pump - so will be able to advise:)
 
Hi @bethgriff I order through my Hospital pharmacy, I was given their number and email. If I do it early, they place the order same day and the goods are delivered to my house direct from Animas within 2 working days. Anything I need to pay for and order directly from Animas, like Dexcom are delivered next working day. The delivery company have always automatically left the boxes in secure locations (e.g. behind bins) near my front door.

I order direct through Animas web site, you can choose a delivery day, they use UPS so if you are not in they will take it to their nearest drop off, mine is a local newsagents shop, but I downloaded the UPS app and you can let them know of a safe place to leave your deliver or nearest shop. Hope this helps. They deliver very quickly within a day, 2 at the most.
 
as above, I order online from animas. when I changed from straight canulas to 30 degree sets they even phoned my mobile to ensure I had ordered correctly.
Animas are very good.and the pump been excelent.
 
Not sure if its the same with Animas but you should be able to request they deliver to your work place if you are not going to be home? I order through Roche and they always ask where I want my parcel delivered
 
My Medtronic supplies are also delivered to work, not my home address.

@bethgriff I order by email and the reply tells me when to expect the order. It can be very quick 1 or 2 days but occasionally takes 3 days. It's delivered by courier to my home, but if you speak to Animas you may be able to get it delivered elsewhere.
