Metformin reduction in BG

Has anyone stopped taking Metformin and saw their bg drop.
I only ask because I missed taking my tablets for a day and then found my blood sugars reduced, but then rose again when I started taking them

Metformin does not have a huge impact on blood glucose levels.
The drug is used mainly to protect other organs, it does have a appetite suppressant in it to help with whatever diet management you have adopted.

Ok I've stopped taking my metformin tablets for 4 days now and my bloods have reduced slightly
