My 2.7BS reading was because I was.....

When people who know nothing about the LCHF diet tell me I'm killing myself being on it. I was killing myself not being on it!
Relaxed! That was according to the practice nurse at my recent blood test. I said I wanted testing equipment, but turned down again.
The 2.7 was when we were on holiday and had gone for a long walk, so yes I was relaxed, I could have been in serious trouble left had I not tested.

If that was an accurate reading, did you have symptoms?

Are you on meds?

Regardless of condition, that by any standards is a hypo, and not normal. I believe that your dsn is wrong!

Hi @Lamont D I tested on my self funded Accu-Chek Mobile (I find it easy to use when out and about). I felt 'strange' a bit like I was drunk, without having had anything alcoholic. My arms felt like they didn't belong to me too! I was prepared and we stopped walking (just over an hour of the 2 hr walk to the ski jump in Oslo) and had some chocolate and a drink. After my levels went up we continued walking.
When we finally got to the ski jump I had real problems, not diabetic related, but short leggies related! The steps at the side of the jump were very steep for my 28" inside leg, so I had to step up sideways, swinging my leg up onto the next step! My 'wonderful' son was at the half way point looking down and laughing at me. When we finally reached him he said "Those stairs are not made for shorties" very true!
I'm off medication. The DN wanted me to go on meds after I came off the dreaded metformin, but I refused.
Rather than being relaxed, I think it was just too much walking up a very steep hill.
