Type 1 Does Anyone Know Where I Can Buy A Freestyle Libre ?

My son has Type 1 diabetes. The Freestyle Libre has not been rolled out in our area yet on NHS but I have been told that we can purchase them ourselves privately. I have contacted Abbots but due to high demand they are only supplying existing customers. Does anyone know of anywhere that stocks these ?

You could try superdrug or Asda pharmacies - they have been selling them direct to customers without prescriptions and at a sheaper than Abbot, but Abbot appear to now be restricting all pharmacies from selling them price

welcome to the forum !! :)

If you have a look on facebook there is a Freestyle Libre users Group UK -- it is a closed group so you have to ask to join......but once admitted there is an interactive map of the Uk you can click on to see nearest stockists.........or you can ask for advice on stockists etc..........hope this helps.
