Just reading this and thought I should check my pens. Have used 2 pens and half way thru a 3rd from this batch. No noticeable higher readings OR problems with my injection sites BUT will be taking them upto Boots now!!

My partner has the same batch as you
Same 2 and a half way through
Started feeling unwell admitted to hospital
4 days later discharged back in following day high blood pressure bloods all over
Emergency c-section
The her first hypo since been diagnosed with type 1 since 9 years old (37 today)
Caused a fit very lucky to have been in hospital otherwise things could of majorly been different

Baby is in nicu but is looking good
My partner I think is over the hill but still been monitored in hospital

Not saying they caused it just very strange how it all happened

Congratulations @Charlie 18 Glad they are both doing well.

Personally I Think an insulin change can effect a pregnancy. Chemist mixed up my insulin when pregnant they gave me a pork derived insulin instead of a synthetic one. Both boxes and vials looked identical except from the word pork. Went into premature labour and afterwards my bloods shot up and would not come down and I'm semi conscious for the next 12 hours.

This was 6 months ago. I don't think many pens of that batch are still in use.

@DCUKMod - is this thread still needed to be sticky given how dated it is?
I think it may be confusing for some to see it so high up and for it not to age onto a second or third page.

Totally agree. I would have thought that batch have been used up by now?
