My first set of results since being diagnosed May '18. So chuffed!

Achieved by a combination of 16:8 IF and LCHF diet and moderately increasing physical exercise (just walking more and doing a mini home circuit every evening).

As soon as I was diagnosed I did the "2 week challenge" on Diet Doctor and maintained it from there. It is free although you can opt to subscribe for better access.

Many thanks to all those who shared their experiences on here - there is so much information available and different ways of achieving success - just do your research and find out what works for you!

Well done for finding what works for you. Now to find the maintenance programme that will ensure consistent results. there is always a new challenge or two in life. ;)

Smashi g numbers, well done!

I hope so - received the results by email following appointment yesterday. I am due to see a diabetic specialist on 31/7 - I'll let you know
That's interesting.. I'll be interested to hear what they have to say especially as (with your HbA1c) you are not really diabetic any more.. well we know you are well controlled but the specialist may have never seen that before...

Congratulations on your massive three month drop you’ve clearly hit on what works for you. Please accept a congratulatory hug and pat on the back from me. You must tell us how the diabetic specialist reacts when you see them and what they say re going forwards. Keep going @Molts youve clearly got a good formula working for you and hope you are enjoying your new way of eating.
