Well that is sad. What are the issues with that meter?I was using the TrueYou meter - this was cos it was the only one my doctor would prescribe strips for - I didn't like the meter at all, but I had no choice in the matter.
Now I've done the carb counting course they will prescribe scripts for the Aviva Expert and its so far seems good.
Well, I seemed to get a lot of errors (on both the meters I had - I had one for my work bag and one for home and everything else), and the looking at your previous result was a faff.Well that is sad. What are the issues with that meter?
I have both Accu-Chek Performa and a Abbot Freedo Lite. What glucometer do you use and trust?
I have both models of the Performa and I think it is one of the most reliable and trustworthy meters aroundI have both Accu-Chek Performa and a Abbot Freedo Lite.
I use the Abbot meter because the Windows software and USB connection cable for it is free, unlike the Accu-Check which is not.

All of mine are +/- 0.03 mmol/L of one another, which is close enough is near enough.I have both models of the Performa and I think it is one of the most reliable and trustworthy meters around
All the meters I have seen only display one decimal place, did you mean 0.3 ?All of mine are +/- 0.03 mmol/L of one another, which is close enough is near enough.
Oh look a typo, no I meant 00.3 the decimal point went in between the wrong zero. All the meters I have seen only display one decimal place, did you mean 0.3 ?
Pity, I would have bought one of those.Oh look a typo, no I meant 00.3 the decimal point went in between the wrong zero.
The android app I use (Diabetes Journal) puts two zeros after the decimal point, but I think it is just to format the results so they are not all over the place.Pity, I would have bought one of those.
