I'm guessing they did a 24hr print off before you were discharged. Clever monitors in cardiology. I was monitored overnight and then they increased my betablocker for gp to monitor whilst under cardiologists care. Then discharged as angiogram showed good heart and controlled fast heart beat on doubled up betablocker. Mild heart disease but history of cardiac arrest in grandmother on my dad's side.
I'm happy to try and ignore the 6mths of worry over it all. It was soooo drawn out and would have been done in a few weeks if I'd been a private patient. :(
 
A funny morning this morning. I dropped my coffee all over me, just washed favourite slippers and kitchen floor. Sooo frustrating.
Hoping a trip out to local shop and chaperoned by my 3 will be less stressful. Mind u some black clouds hanging about.... Outside. Ha ha
No more inside. I hope. Ha ha (giggling) :) :) :)

A lady well to be exact daughters Avon Lady a few months back went private for an operation paying several thousand pounds a while after this she had to be admitted to the local NHS hospital to get the complete **** up that the private hospital had made put right.

So private doesn't always mean better. Even if quicker.

So a male chicken is an offensive term as well cockadoodle do

Garden coming on OK. About half done, and hubby has managed to empty the pond, which has been hard work. He's ordered 20 bags of sand now to fill it in, then some top soil and stones/pebbles, then design a shallow water feature with a waterfall hopefully, so the birds will like it but the dog won't drown.

I didn't have a op @JohnEGreen just investigations. Investigations which can be done very quickly and no waiting list when done privately.
Some things are quicker that way but I've never had an private op. I believe the nhs has more back up if an op is needed for me with my complications.
Investigations are done in cardiologists sleep. They are so common.
My specialist knew I wouldnt be happy hanging around for investigations that I know are no big deal to them.
I cannot stand wishy washy care. For anyone.

Ive worked with some women who get cold easily too. Boss asked me to control storage heaters, well you can imagine the carry on I had with them. In end it was cheaper to turn them off (unless dead of winter) and put electric heater on til morning dew had cleared.
A/C are brilliant in deep of summer. Modern fitted ones are the best instant coolness, I've found.
I'm thinking of investing in a unit in my bungalow.
Buy it now before we all start roasting and prices inflate?

My husband had similar after he had his aortic valve and aortic root replaced - the morning he was due to be discharged they couldn’t find a blood pressure even after using 3 machines so he was kept in for a couple more nights. He has low BP but is on beta blockers to control his heart rate. He also had to have a pacemaker fitted because his sinus nerve was damaged during the operation.

Yes we did. There were 6 of them but weren't able to rescue them as they escaped all on their own. Probably found a better pond in a nearby garden.. The weird thing about the pond is we had no idea it was there until we moved in. The garden was so densely planted, overgrown and full of weeds it was hidden when we were looking round. It was a lovely pond once all the nasties were cleared, and such a shame we can't keep it. It was very dangerous for our little dog. Still, a water feature for the birds (and maybe the odd frog) will suffice.
