Yes we did. There were 6 of them but weren't able to rescue them as they escaped all on their own. Probably found a better pond in a nearby garden.. The weird thing about the pond is we had no idea it was there until we moved in. The garden was so densely planted, overgrown and full of weeds it was hidden when we were looking round. It was a lovely pond once all the nasties were cleared, and such a shame we can't keep it. It was very dangerous for our little dog. Still, a water feature for the birds (and maybe the odd frog) will suffice.
Dentist made an x-ray and sent me to the hospital dental surgeon because the root of the offending molar was so big. They could help me right away, but it really didn't want to part with me. It felt like they were trying to dislocate my jaw. Too bad that the painful molar was the one next to the broken off one, so they pulled both.
Now at home with an enormous hole where the root was, drooling coffee over my shirt and waiting for feeling to return in my jaw, cheek, tongue and chin. Hopefully it won't hurt too much.
Will start chopping 5kg of onions for soup for the festival when I'm finished pouring coffe next to my mouth.

If my diabetes could handle crisps I'd be happy to try them on the left sideGlad it is out but no crisps for a while, those things hurt a healing gum. Hugs.

Yes! Oh yes! More than all the other things, except maybe fresh bread, preferably still warm and then 3 slices in one sitting!I miss crisps, do you?
The problem with them is that I want to eat them before bed. And they make my bg go up some 5 or 6 hours later. At which point I don't want to wake up to inject. Maybe I should try them for breakfast!Crisps only 17 gm of carb per pack On rare occasions I will have a pack but have to sacrifice something else for them.
The hurting is starting. At least I managed the chopping onions and making soup before. I'll go feel sorry for myself on the couch now with a well deserved (but not recommended after tooth-pulling) beer with a (n even less recomended) cigarette and a book (which I figure is deemed fine with pulled tooth/diabetes so I'm still doing something right).

Just for research purposes you understand. The problem with them is that I want to eat them before bed. And they make my bg go up some 5 or 6 hours later. At which point I don't want to wake up to inject. Maybe I should try them for breakfast!
