also from a wet Somerset - glad I had my family BBQ last weekend! I know the rain is needed but I feel sorry for all of the holiday makers who were sat on the southbound M5 yesterday looking forward to a nice week or two in the ‘sunny’West Country.Good morning all from a grey wet liverpool![]()
Suns cracking the flags now. little shower earlier on but that was itAye Up!
It is on the cool side here and overcast I bet @karen8967 your rain will be heading our way soon, where's that umbrella icon when you need it?
Back from festival, had a wonderful time, despite never having had this much pain from a pulled tooth before. The caipirinha's seemed to help though, in combination with paracetamol and ibuprofen at the highest dose.
Nailed the diabetes thingy bizarrely perfect, never went below 3.8 or above 7 while eating and drinking all kinds of things with unknown carb or alcohol content. Too bad it isn't a sustainable way of managing diabetes. I don't mind nursing this kind of hangover and lack of sleep twice a year or so, but not more often.![]()
I think I'll give them a call to ask when I should start to worry tomorrow or tuesday, depending on pain. The extracting was pretty violent, so I still think it's not abnormal, but not completely sure. Should I get unexplainable higher bg, I'll be back to the dentist right away. Pretty nice, actually, to have this extra warning system for infectionsHi Antje77 - If that pain carries on, do go back and let your dentist have a look at the sockets. From your description of events, and the numbness, my guess is your treatment was to your lower jaw. On that basis it's easier (by simple gravity) for infections to establish, or not drain away.
Or maybe I'll spend tomorrow standing on my head. That should take care of the problem, shouldn't it?your lower jaw. On that basis it's easier (by simple gravity) for infections to establish, or not drain away
You could always give it a go. If nothing else, the concentration required to remain perpendicular could take your mind off the pain.I think I'll give them a call to ask when I should start to worry tomorrow or tuesday, depending on pain. I can't blame my poor mangled jaw for biting back when I expose it to sleep deprivation, alcohol, wood smoke, a lot of shouting to make myself heard over the music and a bit of dancing, while all jaw wanted was to lay in bed with lukewarm soup after the dentists assault.

I was in the West Country 2 weeks ago and I really enjoyed the rain and cooler weather - I actually slept at night!I feel sorry for all of the holiday makers who were sat on the southbound M5 yesterday looking forward to a nice week or two in the ‘sunny’West Country.
But did you enjoy it?Well I know I had a hot dog complete with bun for lunch but 16.9 seems a little excessive I think it might throw my average off a bit.
