What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Night all been to see my chest dr today and since my antibiotic doesn’t seem to be helping she thinks either I have a viral infection or that the Amoxicillin is not the right antibiotic for me so she did bloods chest x-ray and lung function she says lung function has dropped slightly so there is something not right and she is going to contact the lung transplant specialists in Newcastle anyway I have some good news about my nanny she got out of hospital today but they done tests on her and the results aren’t so great she’s going into heart failure and her lungs are completely shot due to her COPD anyway sleep well all

Sorry to hear about your nanny and about your lung function, Ziggy. I hope the Newcastle specialists will have some good news for you.

Sending big hugs for you and your nanny xx

Morning...sleep interrupted by that blasted cat scratching to get into the wardrobe...after almost half an hour of gentle encouragement (shouting) at him to stop...I gave up & got up...realised he must have crept in there last night. & got locked in when I closed the door at bedtime...he knows that's not allowed...so now check the doors & windows & wardrobes before bed...excuse me while I work my way through this large pot of coffee...woke to a 5.3

No way to dress up an fbg of 6.1 as anything other than a failure somewhere inside. I could use the flu jab and sniffles as excuses/reasons or go deeper into my growing doubts about the effectiveness of LC medium to long term. Best just be like Mr Asquith and wait and see.
@Ziggy2017 I can only send sympathy and pray for you and your nanny. @PenguinMum hope your knee issue starts to ease. There will be more members with genuine reasons to be discombobulated so feel free to throw virtual rotten tomatoes my way - it may prove cathartic.
