I have been noting my readings creep up and up in the last month or so. I’m in the 6s mostly, the occasional 5 but a day of all 8s! I eat hardly any carbs, as I have done since diagnosis. Boiled eggs for breakfast, chicken salad for lunch sometimes with avocado, snacking on nuts (very low carb ones), cheese and cold meats, and some protein and broccoli for dinner, if at all. Most days I’m well under 20g. I don’t spike after meals and often have under 1 of a rise.
I am 5’8” and 144lbs and size 10/12. I don’t want to or need to lose weight. However, I was wondering if I lose a small amount of weight would that help? Anyone else gone beyond their healthy weight to stabilise their BS? I’m told I’m already too thin but I do have some fat on my stomach, although more of a bike tyre than a car tyre!
Any advice appreciated. Thanks x
