2018/19 Football Season

Baku is a lovely city with lovely people, thoroughly enjoyed our 2 full days there, so glad we went. There weren't many from UK at the match, maybe 100 at the most. Our coach was full of mainly Iraqis, Iranians, Egyptians, Russians, a Syrian and a group of expats from Dubai and Abu Dhabi...all Gooners lol

Got back to the Travelodge after midnight on Saturday evening, then it was up bright and early to see Arsenal beat Fulham 5-1. Fantastic team effort. " We've got our Arsenal back!" :)

Worst ever, we named a much changed team, horrible performance from most!
Couldn't watch most of it!
A disgrace!
The most important thing is Friday night footie!
There was a time when we played all our home games on a Friday.

Should be a good atmosphere v Macclesfield, they have just sacked their manager, so they will be up for it! Another local derby, and after last season, we owe them!

Three games in six days, madness!

Former Carlisle lad and player Tony Hopper died on Wednesday aged 42 he had motor neurone disease RIP

There will be a minutes silence at BP before kick off tomorrow against Morecambe

Good luck to all those playing today. Hope you don't get blown away in this gusty wind. Take care out there if you are going to a game and I hope your team wins.:) Its internationals so no game for us.

Another hard fought three points.
Cementing our place in the playoff positions.
Can't complain.

Two long distance games in three days, at Yeovil and FGR.
How do they come up with these ridiculous fixtures?

Bad luck everyone, there is next week!

We just can’t win at home
4 defeats at home on the trot and no goals scored

Worrying

Hello all. Persuaded by @zand dropping in here for the first time. Here’s a couple of pics from the BFG’s retirement game in Hannover at the weekend. My excuse for a mini holiday.
