Happy Monday y'all :) a 9.2 waking for me, that was upstairs and 10.4 by the time I got downstairs, I've had 1.5u extra this morning for breakfast as I'm currently seeing a rise afterwards.
Getting used to it being dark on a morning but roll on spring :p

Good morning everyone, had a beautiful overnight straight line in the 4s, I could hear my cells purring. Unfortunately this is a rarity, and I am unlikely to hear that gentle purring again for a while.

Apart from that not much else, trying to iron out a couple of glitches that have developed at other times of the day, and no doubt when I've fixed them everything will change again, and there will be a whole new set of glitches that need fixing.

Morning fellows wot full ov oles.

Well tried something slightly different last night and woke up at 12.7 :arghh: and at the moment battling to try and keep it below 10 :banghead:

Oh well!!

On a side note and completely nothing to do with T1D I bought one of these over the weekend.

Yes a Gameboy watch :hilarious: OK a watch in a small Gameboy case and unfortunately :grumpy: it does not play Tetris.

I could have done with something like that yesterday. I was out clearing leaves and cutting back ivy. Then realised my watchstrap was broken and, whilst it was still around my wrist it contained no watch. That's when I realised there are disadvantages to having a small neat black fitbit equivalent and a giant Gameboy watch would be much easier to spot.
Technology helped a little to find it - my phone would Blutooth connect at the top of the garden but not the bottom. I eventually found it ... and three hanging basket cages (?) underneath a pile of leaves on the boarder of my garden. I remember my next door neighbour used to have hanging baskets but I never ever ever ever have (my garden is more functional shrubs and bushes of herbs than pretty flowers).
As for diabetes, yesterday was spent bouncing around the low numbers and this morning made up for it :arghh:

Morning all. Not a fantastic start to the week - 6.4 on waking (yay so far) but it seems my pre-bolus was too much this morning and now stuck unable to drive whilst I wait for the porridge (and couple of Glucotabs) to do it's thing. Argh!

Morning chaps! Had a high alarm in the night, dosed, slept, had a low alarm, dextrosed, slept... now a happy 4.6 with no IOB, drinking coffee in the autumn sun with my friend who drove me back from that London yesterday and is staying for a few days. Here we are with my cat, Bollo... the beast himself.

So probably won’t be around the forum as much as usual the next few days, but will at least try and keep up here :)

Well have now manged to get sugars down from the stupid high of 11.8 - 12 but might have over done it as it is dropping like a stone...….Oh well never mind.

As for the watch well it has now stopped working :shifty: which round the weekend off nice as my Xbox also stopped working which I think might have been an update that killed it  (and before any of you Tech know all's say anything, yes I have turned it off and back on again several times :hilarious: )

Morning all. stubbornly high blood sugars at the moment. Woke up to a 13.9 this morning, Wacked 9U in over three hours ago. still 10.8 FIERCE.

Morning all woke at 2.7, pretty sure it's delayed effects of some fairly heavy duty gardening plus long walks yesterday. Shot up later, coming back down now. Easier day today...probably...

@hh1 I'm doing the heavy duty stuff this afternoon............ got 75 tulip bulbs to plant and all the leaves to bring together and dead heading and the list goes on. No long walk though so hope madam BG will behave................. unlikely!

@helensaramay I always take my watch off and no jewellery apart from the wedding ring when gardening. I don't do handing baskets either, I'm more veg, veg, herbs and some flowers. The apples and other fruit are now left for the birds.

You have reminded me of a quote from my favourite tv show...

"one good solid hopes worth a cartload of certainties"

Which doesn't apply to diabetes......

I appear to have repeated on myself.......I do beg your pardon....lol

8.9 on waking up.
Had family round last evening and ate a bit too much drank a bit too much had lovely evening and watched Doctor Who which was terrific.
So I can't really complain at 8.9.

Tally ho

Tony

I remembered to take my rings off but my watch also keeps track of my activity and I didn't want to mis out on my steps up and down the garden. And when I say "up" I mean up as it is a steep garden.

I often find with most of the activity trackers it works just as well if you have a pocket to stow it in temporarily where you want to keep it safe or it may not track on your wrist because you're carrying something for example.
