A presentation via PHC on blood glucose targets covering T1, T2, GD and a little on children's targets. Roughly half an hour. Covers diet, Bernstein and a little on exogenous insulin etc

Thank you for posting this it’s very interesting particularly interested in the bit about consistency and the balance of carbs in different meals with higher amounts at lunchtime and lower at breakfast and dinner also was the first time I’d heard of dusk phenomenon! Knew about Dawn but not dusk phenomenon @DJC3, @ianpspurs, @Goonergal and @PenguinMum think you’d all be interested in this bit too! There’s a lot thatsonly relevant to those who are on insulin regimes but even if you are diet only very useful thank you @Guzzler

I had not heard of the Dusk Phenomena either but was aware of IR being higher in the a.m so it sounds logical.

Is there any way to read this instead of watch it? I think I'm interested and I managed the first 4 minutes or so, but I have a hard time focusing on lectures.

Thanks @shelley262 and @Guzzler

I have watched this thread so that I can come back and view the videos at some point - it's getting to the point I'll have to take a week off work to have time to watch all the videos that have been posted on the forum that I want to watch!!

This one sounds interesting.

If you go to the description box there are a couple of links that may lead you to a transcript, good luck.

I'm a bit thick, what is the description box?

Sorry, if you go to YouTube and find PHC (Public Health Collaboration) this presentation is the latest one. Beneath the video is a description box giving such details as date published and further refs. etc. Some of them put in a lot of detail some do not.
