Hi. I've had type 1 diabetes for almost 20 years now. My sugar levels are pretty well controlled. Just recently, I get really cold feet. Even when the room is really warm or even 10 minutes after a warm shower or bath, I still have really cold feet. I can sometimes wear 2 pairs of socks and a slippers and still have cold feet! Does anyone have any ideas that can help me?

Get someone else to check them out. If they feel warm to someone else and cold to you then go see your GP. If the someone else says that they are really are cold then get more socks.

I'm the opposite I can't tell if my feet are cold or hot/warm I have to wait till wife tells me often in no uncertain manner.

I have poor circulation due to PVD and in winter my feet get very cold when out on my bike. I did manage to buy some single use heated insoles in Lidl last year and they were good and not too expensive though after 7 hours that was it. So I treated myself to some battery powered heated insoles and they are just brilliant, there's even a remote contol to switch between low, medium and high heat. They work for 6-7 hours on low heat and 3-4 on high. I just plug them into a USB charger after use. There are no trailing wires as the slim batteries are in the soles.
I also use them if I'm working in the garden for long periods when it's frosty.

Yep I get cold feet as well however not quite the same as yourself, I have found that doing some cardio exercise, either walking or doing stuff in the gym really helps mainly because is stimulates the circulatory system.

Other then that more socks I'm afraid.
