had the mother in law staying for a few days. She may not feel quite as happy as @Robinredbreast to have seen child. Granny thanked child for letting her sleep in child's bedroom. Child: I didn't want you to...

Yeah I did a sensor change over the weekend and placed the sensor higher up on the inside of my arm, think I went into muscle as it is little uncomfortable but not to bad so will live with it.

Other then that seem to get last night Kiev combo sorted and stayed in the green all night and currently sat at 6.9.

Other than that not much really.

Good morning and a Happy Wednesday :)
awoke on a 10.2  it's the naughty diabetes fairy at work again  I have to pop into town this morning, then later on pick up Pebbles cat's Advocate spot on drops from the Vets, so Pebbles is not going to like me later. When I put the drops on her skin, she thinks I am committing a terrible crime upon her, bless lol:cat:
Take care :)

she thinks I am committing a terrible crime upon her

I wouldn't say it was a terrible crime, our cats seem to think it's a murderous crime and to be avoided at ALL cost, we manage to do 1 cat and the other 2 are nowhere to be found, it's almost like we have another hidden catflap in the house only they know where it is.

5.7 this morning, currently 5.1 now 2 hrs after breakfast, I must be going through one of those Saintly Diabetes periods where everything just 'works'

7.3 this morning but corrections in the night. When will novo make a .25 pen? Groan. Losing sleep makes the day go more slowly.
Who am I kidding, made older daughter’s birthday cake yesterday, a rich fruit one, and who can resist a small lick of the bowl! All my own fault.

That's getting near pump territory!

I wish I could get one - the local CCG is probably the most tight fisted in the country and I can’t afford to self fund one. Yet another Consultant at the Centre I have appointment for in March (already been delayed a month) so maybe she’ll be more likely to suggest it than the last one.

Mornin' all! Spent the day with a friend in lovely Winchester yesterday. Successfully negotiated pasta for lunch (mainly by eating the meatballs and very little of the pasta) but more importantly, also the phenomenally good pistachio ice cream :D. Stayed below 7, just over 7 at bedtime, woke on a 4.2 and had to have chocolate to allow me to walk the dog :) staying in the low 4s - seems to be a good day for most of us who didn't lick the cake bowl :hilarious: @Mel dCP looking forward to hearing you passed your assessment with flying colours (purple of course)

Moaning all,

A really rubbish start at 13.5 this morning, rubbish sleep too - bah humbug...2 hypos yesterday including one at my piano lesson, as my lesson's only 30 mins long it pretty much wrote off the lesson as sat there eating glucotabs and waiting to feel near normal to continue, not easy playing a piano with a confused brain, the music didn't sound right, I did try, teacher was lovely and offered me a drink and then left me alone to sort myself out, but felt very embarrassed..

Having a 'diabetes can do one' day - anyone care to join ?!

A Christmas ditty :-

Tis' Christmas and the panto season is here
With lots of rip roaring fun and jolly good cheer
Booing the baddies, cheering the goodies
Nothing to fear. my diabetic buddies
But... the wicked witch is hiding in the wings
Conjuring up the most awful of things
A low so low, not good at the show
We need Prince Charming to give it go
So he rode to the rescue on his magnificent steed
Giving us sugar, chocolate, carbs to feed,
Hurrah for the Prince and his timely arrival
Back in good numbers, it's a show stopping revival :D
