Dexcom G6 transmitters

Does anybody know a strategy which will get a little more time out of a G6 transmitter just using the dexcom app and not going down the xdrip route? Activated on 28/10 which makes day 90 on Friday. Anybody know an exact cutoff date as my searching just finds reference to '3 months'?

I have just googled “getting more time out of Dexcom g6” and found a few hits suggesting stoping the sensor before the end and restarting.
Do a google and check them out.

Transmitter. Just trying to find out how long it will last before it dies without interfering with it. My wife is not great with technology so can't really do any resetting of it until I'm back home and I'm away for another week or so.

Thanks- I see a mention of 112 days so hopefully that will turn out to be correct.
