So I made a 5 minute Keto chocolate mousse..

They may grow on me...like a fungus!.
Taste wise the only one I can tolerate in hot drinks is xylitol. (Poinsonous to dogs). I tend to use erythritol and maybe mix in stevia for any baking or recipes. I don’t use much, often less than recommended. It also limits any potential for aftertastes. Seems fine at the level I use it.

Being Autistic means that even the slightest taste is often too much. Its that extra sensitivity we have that means there are no grey areas..so its either very strong or nothing and I find the aftertastes very strong.

My adult son - High Functioning Aspergers but not diabetic, finds taste and texture a big issue with foods.

I suffer from Fibromyalgia. I am extra sensitive to tastes and smells. When hubby sprays deodorant, even just a little, I feel as if |I am eating it, as I can taste the deodorant in the air, even when he is not in the same room. I am fine with mine as the scent is not as strong. My son when he visits will go outside to Vape. Even though the door is closed, I can smell it. A person who walks past my window with a ciggy even though my windows are closed I can smell the smoke. Nobody else can smell it lol

Same here.

Smells, tastes, textures, all affect me quite intimately.

Seriously I’m fairly sensitive too. If you need a sweetener I’d try this one.

Double cream, unsweetened cocoa powder, sweetener and cinnamon..

And it’s certainly...different lol.

There’s a vague chocolate taste and a vague sweetness...and you only have to eat a spoonful for it to fill you up, but, given that I struggle with any recipe over “fry an egg”, it came out okay.

Watch out Mr Ramsey, here I come!
That is a great way to satisfy your sweet tooth without affecting your health. It is also good for your dental health because eating sugar can also lead to dental problems.

I've just made the chocolate mousse, threw a few raspberries on top! It better not spike my blood cos it was delicious! :woot:
