I really don't have a lot of time in the morning so I need something I can just grab...

Slices of cold meat and cheese
home made very low carb meusli
or bought low carb muesli
slices of home made frittata
yoghurt and berries
leftovers from night before
coffee and cream (this can be a meal in itself, esp bulletproof coffee (recipe on Google)
sausages cooked the day before and reheated
or just skip breakfast - that idea that you MUST eat something as the most important meal of the day or else the sky will fall on your head is just a myth

Coffee with a lump of butter and/or coconut oil and/or heavy cream
boiled eggs (from previous evening), dash of salt, done
Full fat greek yoghurt with nuts and maybe some berries
Little bag of nuts
Bifi-like sausage
Make a thin omelet the night before, let cool, use it as a wrap in the a.m. for cold cuts, salad, whatever

I make a 6 egg frittata with mushrooms, spring onion bacon or chorizo and a sprinkle of cheese - cut it into 6 lasts 3 days in the fridge - can be eaten cold orvzapped in the microwave- just grab and go - I also have leftovers from dinner or I LOVE above ground cooked cold veggies with a drizzle of olive oil - my favourite are brussel sprouts or green beans

Keep going with low carb - before long you’ll be happy without food all morning

In the meantime
- chopped avocado or
- handful of nuts or
- hard boiled egg or
- sliced cold chicken
- pâté

okra. Cigarette smoke, old, new, and permeating a room, wafting from a balcony, etc etc. That I have so many chronic diseases. That I take so very many meds. Being cold. Anything too loud, but specifically non-classical music and the television.
How about a lunch wrap made the night before? No rule saying you can’t have a sandwich for bfast! Roll up tight, don’t cut, and it’s right in your hand for the whole commute?

Diet drinks - the artificial sweeteners taste vile.
Having to forswear foods I have loved all my life.
Trying to find low carb meals when eating out.
Just made me think.
I start the day with coffee, butter and cream which is a meal in itself.

However there is another thread about home made chocolate truffles which are big, yummy, and 3.9 grams of carbs each. Loads of fat and even a little protein. I am now thinking of them as especially attractive fat bombs.

The rule breaker's breakfast could therefore be a variant on bullet proof coffee and a couple of home made chocolate truffles. Fat loading, very filling, and not really any bad stuff.

Who needs breakfast cereals, anyway?
