I’ve found recently that whenever I eat cheese, whether it be cheesy crisp things from 8 week sugar diet or just cheese, I just feel really Sicky afterwards. An never sick, but just feel eugh and nauseas. Lasts for hours.
Does anyone else find this?
Bit of a pain because it’s a go to snack.

All cheese or a particular type?
Maybe try some non cows milk cheese and see if you react differently?

Seems to be cheddar but could include parmasen.
I might try some of the lactose free one.

Just a pain. I nibble on it but that’s useless it it makes me feel ill

Maybe some goats or sheeps milk cheese might expand your cheese platter at the same time as experimenting!
Always a silver lining...

Didn’t know you could get sheep cheese.

Goats cheese I have had but it used to upset stomach. Although that was preD, well knowing about it so that might have been the sweet potato I had with it.

Does the same thing happen with very mild tastes, like Edam, Gouda, or with things like Quark or cottage cheese? Or even cream cheese?

Don’t know. I’ll have to give it a go.

Still feel sick now having eaten a couple of cheesy things this morning.

Getting to be a pain!

The maturing process removes the lactose, so mature, hard cheeses are lactose free.

It’s pre grated and says nature on it but also cathedral city.

@Cana , does this happen at any time of the day, or certain times?

If cheese does transpire to be an issue, then hard boile eggs or eg g bites are a great small snack, in ready "portions".

I think mainly in the mornings. When I get up I nibble to stop the liver dump but it tends to be the cheesy things from the book.
But they are very intensive cheesy.

100g ground almonds same cheddar same parmesan, mixed then baked.

I had couple of them this morning a bang.

Yet during the day doesn’t seem to have same problem

Although today it’s been with me all day so far.
Just had few chips with dinner (had cheese in it) to see if that helped. Feels like it would soak something up

You could try a hard boiled egg, or an eggy bite in the mornings.

Egg bites can be batch cooked and then eaten over a few days. There are loads of recipes on t'internet

Are your bowel movements OK? Have they changed at all?

No they are fine.

With the cold it was a lot better but then I haven’t eat much cheese. Mostly burgers etc.

Today started cheese again and poof.

Have you checked the list of ingredients? Pre grated cheese often contains starch or other things to keep it from sticking.

Oh really. I’ll look thank you

Although was getting it from normal as well.

For me it was the fat content had that same effect. Try some different cheeses, found some smoked cheese slices with a much lower percentage of fat were ok. Try a few different cheeses, in very small portions (10-15g) at first. You could also try nuts, again same principle, very small portion at first. Or lot of people here eat sliced meats. Good luck in finding a suitable snack.
