Diabetics R Us

Morning

Up at absolutely stupid o'clock today o_O. I'll try and have a nap on the settee if I can.

Sounds like a good idea. Most times when I have a nap on the sofa, the KittenCat has a nap on me.

I had a nap and then cleaned the mirrors that we put back up in the hall :angelic:

Um ... the KittenCat washed her face ... :cat:

Time for bed for us.

Good morning-afternoon, everyone! I think I slept about 3 hours. It took forever to get to sleep and then I had an absolutely crazy, unrestful dream ...

Oh, well, coffee and Magnum. I think I am going to try not eating any more today and see how I feel. I also think I need to be on a ship somewhere in the Netherlands. Or on a horse somewhere in England ...

Last day of our holiday today and what a gorgeous day. My skin has started to tan, no coat needed, very warm. Out for a pub meal tonight. The pub is 2 yards from our front door so we can easily wobble home. I may have a blow out and forget the diet - but my Libre will soon let me know how bad I have been.

I've just had a lovely long nap and now I am going to follow your example and do something industrious. Let's see ... vacuuming, and a couple of loads of laundry ...

Morning all

Another stupid early morning :meh:

We're supposed to be going away in the motorhome tonight but Alan's interviewing prospective job candidates in Hampshire today so will probably be home late, we'll go in the morning if he is.

Have a good day.

H :)

Anyone else had a pm asking for you to fill in a survey and including a link without any further details? The grammar is questionable, too. I have reported it but was just wondering if it is just me and my nasty suspicious mind.

I haven't had one. You did the right thing reporting it. Let the mods decide how genuine or otherwise it is. Never click on links you don't know, whether on a forum or email. I'm sure you wouldn't, but many do.

Had my bloods yesterday, with an extra, PSA.... and today, the place I work closed it's doors, the work is going to France... Brexit, you have to love it... I've got another 5 months to transfer my knowledge about how it is meant to work... so it was steak, salad and some red wine.
Sorry, bit of a downer, be better tomorrow.

@Guzzler I haven't gotten such a PM either. I agree with @Bluetit1802 that you did the right thing by reporting it, and asking if anyone else has received one.

@hankjam I don't know what a PSA is, but I do know that losing one's job sucks. I'm sorry to hear about yours. It happens in this country too.

Happy Mothering Sunday to all Mums. D'ya reckon that we need two extra hours in bed this morning because the clocks have gone back? Well, that's my excuse!
Have a great day.

Err they went forward an hour but as it's Sunday and Mothers day you can rest in for as long as you like.

@SaskiaKC

PSA is a protein made in the prostate gland. Some of this PSA leaks into the blood and can be measured in the PSA test. PSA levels can be higher due to conditions, such as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) or prostititis. A raised level may sometimes be a sign of prostate cancer.

Or it could have been a public service announcement but I somehow doubt that.
