Type 1'stars R Us

What about lunch time kids tv.
Trumpton.
Camberwick Green.
Andy Pandy.
Noddy.
Just a few to start us off.

We're living in less innocent times now mate.

I noticed this in the papers the other day:

"Pugh, Pugh, Barney McGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble and Grubb appeared at the Old Bailey earlier today, charged with historical allegations....

When approached for comment by the BBC, Windy Miller said, "talk to my lawyer..."

Ah the Flintstones... "Modern Stone Age family."
There's a theory they were living "normal lives" in a post apocalyptic dystopian future, void of any technology.. Employing talking genetically mutated animals as home help? ;)

Jaylee, remember it was just a cartoon............:D but a funny one at that, especially Dino and putting the sabre tooth cat out of the window for the night :hilarious::hilarious: Wilmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa:wideyed:

I also grew up watching wrestling on the TV with my dad, stars like Mick McManus, Billy two Rivers (saw him live and a wrestler who was bit of a balleina) Big Daddy ( Shirley Crabtree) also loved watching The Generation Game, my old woodwork teacher was on The GG :)

Crackerjack with Leslie Crowther and Peter Glaze, so funny :hilarious: remember Animal Magic ? :)

The cabbages, Johnny Morris’s animal voices. And Rin Tin Tin. The Lone Ranger and Tonto (there’ve been some interesting interpretations of that one). And Mr Ben - I think he’s Portillo’s alter ego.

Michael Portillo's alter ego, love that lol :hilarious: I liked The Adventures of Tin Tin and his dog Snowy.

Does anyone remember this show...?

Then there was also another popular sort of "buddy" format, but set in the bleak future with evolved primates...

Good morning everyone.
Well it felt like a time warp day yesterday, the tv programmes and memories just kept on coming. Have to admit it was nice to reminisce about “ easier “ times.
New Dexcom on last night after a week of flying solo. The test strips will get a break now.
Off out for breakfast later, it’s one of those that needs a good old pre bolus and top up to keep things reasonably level.
Hope everyone else has as good or better day than me.:):):).

@Knikki . Good luck with the vinyl hunting. It’s amazing the amount of vinyl that’s reappeared recently, especially in the charity shops.

Brilliant, love it.:):):):).
We will never see anything on tv like that again.
H & S would have a field day;););). Those firemen knew no danger.:):):).

@Jaylee - oh I remember Alias Smith & Jones. Pete Duel was my very first crush! I thought he was just gorgeous.

5.3 on rising which was a total miracle given that somehow I managed to calculate dinner's bolus using the same carb values twice, so I actually took twice as much insulin as I needed. Bring on the emergency Oreos! And sadly I was so low I just devoured them.....
