Hey mine is in special measures it’s so bad! I hear your problems.
You are legally entitled to a copy of any test results. They should be putting them online too. A dr may need to authorise release of the results but as you’ve already been told them (perhaps not correctly but for this purpose that’s by the by) there should be not problem. The locum should be able to do this. Telephone appointments may be another option.
When someone is lowering their blood glucose levels and is highly insulin resistant it’s often the morning fasting figure that stays highest even when other times through the day are doing well. For many getting that fasting figure where they want it is the final bit of control and when they’ve got that they feel they have wrangled the diabetes demon successfully, well for now at least. So if ALL your figures including fasting are in range you’re doing all the right things and just keep doing it. I know you want to lose fat, it’ll happen, it just takes a bit of time sometimes. Measurements and pictures might be a better measure rather than scales, especially if you’re hittting the gym.

I am not one to complain in regards to our dear National Health Service. I hold it very dear to me. In fact, when I had my AFIB episode, I knew something was wrong and I knew it would be quicker for me to drive to the hospital than call an Ambulance out, the healthcare professionals at the A&E gave me a right telling off for driving in to hospital!
There were people complaining about how warm the food was, one person complained about the Weetabix not being real Weetabix, but it was real when the catering staff brought the boxes round.
I am grateful. But I believe in Professionalism and standards where required. But an appalling service causes inefficiency.
My fasting glucose is no more than 4.4mmol - 5.2 mmol. To be honest, I haven't seen 5.0mmol or 5.2mmol. My BG after 2 hours is under 6, and I am going to test it for the 3 hour one later on.
I want to lose my belly and bum! It seems so difficult! Yes, I get dissapointed when I get on to the scale, I drink a lot of water, for example, I woke up with my weight at 89.8kg today, and then I had 1.5L of water, and a cup of tea, my weight on the scale shot up to 92.8kg, I was so depressed. But I remembered, its not numbers, its how you look.
Went out and brought a tape measure, and I take monthly pics. My next set of pics are due tomorrow!
