Yes I know its early yet but this thread is in readiness for when the new fixture lists come out 21st June for the Championship and lower leagues. And June 13th for those lucky enough to still be in the Prem. :D

Cant wait for the new season to start, although the old season seems to be dragging on for an unusually long period, with the champions league final so much later this year and now internationals. I am not sure when the players are supposed to rest and recharge their batteries.

Yeah there's just the women playing at the moment. England women seem to doing better than the men :D:D

And we kick off the new season on 5th August with a Monday night fixture at home to Derby County. Must be a televised game.
Then the season ends down at the Den(Millwall) Interesting start and end. I hope everyone else is happy with their new fixture list. Just sit back and wait for it to arrive and hopefully it will be a good season for us all :)

I am waiting to see who Arsenal buy in the summer. As the club's owner doesn't want to spend ,I doubt we will really be able to shore up our defence for next season. Looking forward to the preseason friendly at Borehamwood though. Might take some of my students.

Our Friendlies are all pencilled in now. SpVgg Greuther Fürth
Sportzentrum Wörgl is the first one. God what a mouthful that is :D
SpVgg Greuther Fürth
Brixen im Thale Wonder if that's the same team only in a different venue.
Then comes Hamburger FC. Wonder if that's a MacDonald's franchise :D
Followed by Rochdale and Donny.
The last one we face Montpellier at Home.
The Academy have some pretty good ones too.

35 days to the new season kick off and counting :D Bring it on.

Opponents
Hibernian FC home
Penrith AFC away
Chester FC home
Fleetwood Town away
Tranmere Rovers home
Ross County away

Bit of a mixture for you there then. 2 trips to Bonny Jockland and your newly promoted rivals(Tranny) And a trip to the seaside too. Nice place is Feetwood (Chance to stock up on Fisherman's Friends) :D. Make a weekend of it and catch a tram down to Blackpool and if you catch a cold you are sorted :D

Sad night last night. The Lionesses got knocked out of the world cup :( Still they had a damned good run and put the men to shame that's for certain. Well done Lasses. :)

Pre season line up,

Liverpool home
Burnley. Away
Stoke home
Carlisle. Away
Walsall. Home.

Don't fancy the trip back down the M6 after midnight as its usually closed!

Some good uns there!

And our 2nd match finished with us beating them 1-0. :)
Next game is with Hamburger FC on Saturday in Kitzbuhel. Then I guess they fly home on Sunday and get ready for next Wednesday's trip to Spotland to face Rochdale.
