Aww come on the season hasn't started yet and you are writing them off lol. Mind you we could be in League 1 next season as I've heard it on the grape vine that our new owner hasn't any money hence him being at Southport before us. :D Hopefully that will be proved wrong.

Its got worse..

Two more players have handed in notice...another friendly cancelled...no takeover progress...

I think Liquidation seems the more likely outcome...

But hey, so long as the big clubs prosper nobody gives a **** below Premiership level.

I know that it's a personal view, but I bet your board wouldn't have discussed monetary issues for lower league clubs when you were in the premiership raking the millions in!
Unfortunately, for some, regardless of television money, there is still not enough for lower league, non leagues, grassroots, kids football and the game in general!
 
We beat Donny 0-2 last night. That's sound stuff. Final friendly game is at home to Montpellier on Saturday. Hopefully be on song again. 1 week to go and counting.

Oh goodness me how much worse can it get. I really feel for all you supporters and the staff at the club. Lets hope you can sort it out before the season starts next weekend.

Here we go with the final friendly match. We are home to Monpellier. Going to be some soggy fans about its banging down with rain at the moment. Cant believe that the new season gets under way next weekend.
 
Came from behind to nab a draw. That's it for the practice now. Next match is Home to Derby County on Monday 5th August. Bit of a bogey team.
 
Walsall final preseason game, 0-0!

Raining all day, pitch was just about playable, picked up two injuries, not a good day all round!

On to the real thing next Saturday v Rochdale!

What happened to the summer/holidays?

We softened Rochdale for you 11 days ago. Hopefully you'll beat em :)
Its not really been much a Summer weather wise.
 
Its here at last the new season is about to begin. It kicks off tonight with a Championship game between Luton and Middlesbrough. God where has the last 2 1/2 months gone. Lets see what sort of season our teams have this time. Oh and that ghastly kit that I showed a photo of was just a wind up prank. Thankfully the new kit is not like that.

Lincoln and Middlesbrough drew 3-3 last night. That's good going.
 
It seems poor old Bury are in trouble now. 2 Lancashire teams in deep do do :(
At least Bolton got to play and sadly lost 2-0 :(
