Hello my son has recently been diagnosed with type 1 and prescribed a freestyle libre. We are going on holiday soon and will be going to lots of water parks. What is the best thing to keep his sensor dry for long periods of time ie 6hrs. Thanks

I use a rectangle of kinesiology tape to water-proof and protect mine, not that I've been swimming for 6 hours, but it stays on for two weeks.

I use a waterproof clear dressing cover to keep mine stuck on and dry. This is mine, I have 2 days left on the sensor so it’s pealing slightly, but if your in water for 6 hrs+ a day you might need to reapply them more frequently.

I am off to Turkey end of Sept again. Last year I used Skin Tac wipes and they worked like magic. Had to peel the Libre off me after 2 weeks. I would recommend some vet wrap with it as well, it only sticks to itself so no worries when removing the tape. The sensor is waterproof as well

Also use KT tape, does the trick for gym etc, but as above, will probably need replacing more often. Its relatively cheap to buy a roll on amazon and cut to size.
