Currently in berlin and need insulin in the next couple of days as i have only one pen left cause the others got frozen in a fridge.

Anyone had insulin from here before and know whats involved?

Hi, @jamesfitz , if you have an EHIC card with you, it may allow you buy insulin at heavily subsidized prices at a chemists.

I'll tag @Wurst , who I think is in Germany and may have some tips.

Went to a doctors this morning. They said we keep things simple here we give you 1 pen free and you go home.

Fuming to say the least.

How quickly do you go through one pen and how long are you there for?

1 pen should last me about 12 days around europe and i am travelling for another 14. I should be able to make it last hopefully

@jamesfitz I was wondering if you could contact the diabetes associations in Germany for help?

I wonder if going to see a different doctor would help? Maybe he or she would give you a second free pen....???
