What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Good Morning to all, I am greeted with a 5.3 today. Awoken early by the relentless rain.

There is a promise of sunshine as the day light breaks, we shall see.

Off to visit Humpshire today where one is greeted with phrases such as 'Ow bin yer owre kid?' So I have been practising the appropriate response of 'Iym foin ta, ow am yo?'

Be good, keep dry and have a spiffing day.

6.4.
Mind you that was after 3 cups of tea, with sweetener, so probably a poor example test.
But it is what it is...

Right, my sabbatical over..

Enjoy the day all.:)

Major hugs, @HarryBeau
Thinking of you today.

Had our little Street cat pop up last night.

Seems I've been using the HER laptop, without permission :wideyed:..
So last night she reclaimed it.

Finders Keepers, losers weepers, indeed.:***:

Awww .... what a lovely little lady she is.
I've been reading some books by one of my favorite childhood authors about a little black cat named Jenny Linsky who belongs to a Cat Club. Your little neighbor looks like a great-great-great-granddaughter.
^. .^

A very unusual 7.2 this morning. Woke up at 4.30am absolutely drenched in sweat - felt exactly like I used to if I injected too much insulin. Didn't dare to walk down stairs to get my meter. This morning am OK - just a bit tired and headachy.

Morning All. 5.5 but another one who had a bad nights sleep.
@jjraak good to see you back. Loving your visiting cat, she seems very comfortable with technology. Hugs to everyone who needs them today. Weather just as horrible here but do need to go out this morning for hair appointment!
Try and have a good Thursday everyone. Stay well, stay safe.

Morning...had an unexpected good night sleep last night I needed it...woke this morning & forgot momentarily what had happened a couple of days ago...many many many thanks for the messages & supportive comments hugs & sentiment expressed from members here...off for more coffee...despite relying heavily on comfort food yesterday woke to a 6.7

You deserve a win and a hug :).

Good morning and bon weekend from a dreary, damp outpost in the dark and dangerous north.

The wonder wheel of roast pork with apple sauce and a cheeky biscuit before bed heralded a slapped leg and a 6.1 this morning. Now I am always up for a slapped leg but not that early in the day.

Just been watching the latest missive from Jonathan Pie - “When did the parliament channel get better than Netflix” and “Lady Hale - Spider Lady”. Best satirical views about the goings on in UK politics but don’t watch it if you need smelling salts. No link but search for him if you are interested.

It’s just gone quiet - the rain has ceased it’s hammering and banging. Good, because we are going over to the little house on the prairie this afternoon. Mrs Miggins’ last guests ever are leaving her rentals today and she has already sold the caravans - hooray!

The twins ( Chaos and Mayhem) and their lately turned five handler (Little Miss Pamplemousse) are arriving at some point this evening with mum and dad for a weekend of fun, games and making a mess.

Have a great day if you can, big hugs for those who need them, nice to see you back @jjraak

Poor old Boris & Geoffrey Cox victims of 'girl power'...are Lady Hale & Gina Miller the new Spice Girls...I was glued to the live debate yesterday...better than the worse episode of Jerry Springer.

Watched it last night - wonder when they will be doing a re-enactment of Charles the firsts final haircut

Although we've made light of it dunelm...whatever your politics seeing how our most senior law officer & Prime Minster behaved was alarming...listening to the aggressive rhetoric ( I would have said bu**s*it but it's not allowed here) are we really that devoid of political talent..surely.we can do better.

Morning all. Hugs to all who need or want them. I had a 7.1 @ 7 this morning no idea why. I’ve been up to collect my prescription and popped into the bank for a printout. Gotta sort out why I’ve paid every bill I received but according to housing I’m over 5k in arrears. Then I must bead some.....or bead some and then sort stuff out. Later I got new wheelchairs being brought for home demo, this afternoon I got chiropractor and docs appointments. Busy busy for me today.

Okay I have taken the plunge and made an enquiry about having another cat...I think I may have missed 'Kitten Season' so may buy one or two...I have no idea why but these have caught my eye...Bengals...poor old Churchill would be horrified at having a pedigree cat in his 'home' but I am giving it some thought.bengal small.JPG

Hi @HarryBeau, like @jjraak says beautiful cats but do your home work. A lady in our street had them for years and she could only walk them on a lead and not let them out on there own as they attacked everything with a desire to kill. Maybe she was just unlucky with the ones she got but just letting you know so you can do some research.

Oh and welcome back @jjraak its good to see you and what a metamorphosis your avatar's been through, animal to motorbike now that's impressive. :)
