hba1c testing

Hello @rgordon Welcome the forum.

To my knowledge here in the UK they don't offer this service - however you can do a home HbA1c test, there are companies around who will send you out a kit. Can you not visit your GP instead to have this done ?

Thanks for this. The question is actually on behalf of an elderly relative who doesn't like going to the GP practice but would be more comfortable dealing with her local pharmacist. Looking online and have seen various kits, but I'm not sure they'd be the best option - so it looks like she'll have to stick with the GP.
