2019/20 Football season

Footy day again and up here there'll be a few soggy Town and Barnsley fans this afternoon.
Hope everyone else's team wins today :)
 
Well guys i haven't posted much lately cos I am on holiday. I hope you don't mind a post about another sport on this thread cos I am In New Zealand ...trying hard not to smirk when I go out stargazing in an hour's time lol. Happy days England are in a World Cup Final. Yay!

@zand Liverpool 5 Arsenal 5 wow that was some match wasn't it. Bad luck Arsenal lost 5-4 on pens :(
 
Arsenal may get invited back in because the midweek date set for the quarterfinals, is the same as the world club championship, they can't be in both!

Remember the days when games were played back to back at Christmas!

Away to Brentford for our lads this afternoon. Hopefully get something. Always been a bogey team though so who knows.

Well I've just come home and put the BBC sport page on and wow I'm amazed we beat Brentford 0-1. Wasn't expecting that. :singing::singing::D 18th place 4 points above the relegation zone. Next up Preston away next Sat.
 
We had a really great win today!
Deserved to win, and because of the win, the franchise's manager got sacked shortly after!
Up to 18th ourselves, John!

Onwards to next Saturday and the FA cup, Wycombe at home!
