2019/20 Football season

Good luck to everyone playing today. Hope your team wins :)
We are at Ewood Park today kicking off at 12:30pm. Hopefully scalp Blackburn and make it 3 wins on the bounce. :)

1-1, rough Friday night game, poor performance and saved from defeat by a late penalty. Injuries again causing unwanted team selection.
More changes again Tuesday v Sunderland. More injuries!
Can't believe we were that poor first half against a team that clearly are relegation bound!

Looking forward to the Stadium of Light.

2-2 Draw. Threw that one away. Blackburn's 2nd goal was a gift which one of our sleepy players gave away. Wait and see what Reading do now as to whether we end up back in the relegation zone or stay out.
Next up Home to Middlesbrough Tuesday night.

Bad luck mate. That's the way it always seems to go you struggle against relegation bound teams. Hopefully you will do better on Tuesday night. Good luck :)

And Liverpool's winning streak comes to an end :( It would have been nice for them to carry on a bit longer. Still they have gone 9 games unbeaten so that's pretty good. Long may it continue. Wonder if they can match our record of 43 unbeaten games.

Good luck to all those playing tonight. Hope your team wins :) We take on Middlesbrough tomorrow night at home. 22nd v 21st that should be interesting. 1 of us could end up in the relegation zone which is where we are at present unless its a draw then it all stays as it is.

Blimey Sheffield Utd beat Arsenal last night what a surprise that was. One for the good old Yorkies :D @zand that was bad luck. I have to stick with the Yorky teams you know seeing as I am a Yorky :singing::singing::D:D

Getting interesting at the bottom now. We take on Middlesbrough tonight and Saturday we host Basement club Barnsley who only managed a draw last night. A win tonight would be a big bonus. I think we will share the honours with Barnsley.

2 successive 2 nil defeats away to Plymouth and home to Northampton last night

We’re sinking oh crumbs

Got smashed, fully deserved, awful!
With our financial situation, I fear relegation is coming!

The best part was the support from the superwhites, nearly 1000 in the top tier, never stopped singing all game, put the other 27000 to shame!
What a stadium, unbelievable for a league one game!

Onwards, Donny at home Saturday, they only scored seven last night!

Bad luck mate :( Don't despair yet season is only young yet.

I know mate, but, our success over the last three seasons has been based on keeping clean sheets and scoring enough to get a result.
That plan has deserted us so dramatically, mainly because of injuries, last week, we had more injured than fit players, those that are fit(ish) are struggling at this level.
It's not the usual knocks, but serious injuries.
If I could predict that all would be a lot better come Christmas, I wouldn't be so pessimistic, but we won't!
We haven't got the budget to overcome the lack of quality needed at this level!
We have a lot of experienced players, too many and we are really struggling to be competitive! We are too old!

I hope we can do it, but I think and believe that the double promotion is just too much for the players we have. Going up has stretched the club too much!

What we have achieved is amazing, I really fear that it will all come crumbling down again!

Ho hum!

0-0 draw 4 unbeaten now.. Next up is the big Yorky derby game Home to Barnsley on Saturday. That will be a goodun.

Its a tough old world isn't it. Like us we haven't got the budget either. But having won 2 on the bounce and drawn 2 maybe our lot are starting to wake up. Time will tell for both of us mate. Hang on in there.

Hells Bells @jay hay-char what happened last night mate? a Nine Nil thrashing. That must have been some game. Certainly a nice way to mark the 1st anniversary of the tragic helicopter crash that wiped out Leicester's owner :( Lest we forget.
