Well done Carlisle @Cumberland good win for you mate

Well done Carlisle @Cumberland good win for you mate![]()
1-1, rough Friday night game, poor performance and saved from defeat by a late penalty. Injuries again causing unwanted team selection.
More changes again Tuesday v Sunderland. More injuries!
Can't believe we were that poor first half against a team that clearly are relegation bound!
Looking forward to the Stadium of Light.
Got smashed, fully deserved, awful!
With our financial situation, I fear relegation is coming!
The best part was the support from the superwhites, nearly 1000 in the top tier, never stopped singing all game, put the other 27000 to shame!
What a stadium, unbelievable for a league one game!
Onwards, Donny at home Saturday, they only scored seven last night!
2 successive 2 nil defeats away to Plymouth and home to Northampton last night
We’re sinking oh crumbs
Bad luck mateDon't despair yet season is only young yet.
I know mate, but, our success over the last three seasons has been based on keeping clean sheets and scoring enough to get a result.
That plan has deserted us so dramatically, mainly because of injuries, last week, we had more injured than fit players, those that are fit(ish) are struggling at this level.
It's not the usual knocks, but serious injuries.
If I could predict that all would be a lot better come Christmas, I wouldn't be so pessimistic, but we won't!
We haven't got the budget to overcome the lack of quality needed at this level!
We have a lot of experienced players, too many and we are really struggling to be competitive! We are too old!
I hope we can do it, but I think and believe that the double promotion is just too much for the players we have. Going up has stretched the club too much!
What we have achieved is amazing, I really fear that it will all come crumbling down again!
Ho hum!
