A libre insulin question ?

Hi all,
I'm self funding the Libre, on day 2 at the moment and have realised my ratios set into my Aviva expert are all wrong, however when I hopefully get accepted to have the Libre on prescription how will I know how much insulin to have? Is there a way of inputting carbs and ratios into the libra app?
I went on a libre course last year but don't remember being able to do this?

Thank you

When you do a scan for the libre you can add notes such as how many carbs there were, and add/or add how much insulin you took, and add an exercise comments, but I don't believe it has anywhere to add your carb ratio, it was never designed to work as a bolus calculator as far as I know.

I think the reader (not app) has a feature for having an insulin ratio which calculates how much to inject, and also shows insulin on board.

What the libre reader? That would be fantastic if it did, thank you

The libre meter is a blood meter that can scan the libre, test your blood glucose levels and ketone levels. I think you can buy it or ask your team for one. I got mine through buying the starter pack from
Abbott. IMG_9172.jpg

I cant see anywhere obvious where you could enter a ratio on the reader to be honest, unless its in the professional options section (mine is not unlocked so I can't see whats in there) - I got my reader in a starter pack from Abbott as well (about 2.5 years ago).

If I get accepted to have it on prescription I will ask my team if they can let me have one. My appointment is 12 Dec, if not I will ask for it for Christmas
