Today I took my daughter to see one of our GP’s. She has had a cough and cold for a few weeks. Occasional temperature etc. I just picked the first available GP. He checked her over etc etc. And then, as I was there I decided to ask him if he was an LCHF sort of guy.
At first the response sounded promising but after agreeing it was good, started to bring “good” carbohydrates into the conversation \ consultation. He also thought too much protein would be hard on the kidneys and that too much fat (including dairy fats) would potentially be harmful.
He again gave LCHF his approval and stated that the idea is to lose weight and free the pancreas from fat deposits.
