Personal Confession I was a lifelong yo yo dieter

HbA1c 6.4% (pre diabetic 46)
SW 71kg (156.5pounds) overweight for my height and sex
BP 140/100
BMI 27.2
Watched Dr Jason Fung’s You tube videos and read his books The obesity code and also The diabetic code.
Fasting started:
9 September 2019 onwards . Plenty of OMAD(one meal a day) , 18:6 ,Alternate day fasting, 3X42 hrs fasting , few 72 hours fasting and LCHF diet for the next 99 days . became a full blown fat burning machine . Urine ketones in the range of 1.5- 8%
11 December 2019: 99 days later
2nd blood test
HbA1c 5.3% (Hurray No more diabetic)
CW 57Kg (125.6 pounds) Normal weight
BMI 21.8 Normal
BP 120/67
Total weight loss so far 14Kg (30.86 pounds)
Now Ready for maintaining Intermittent Fasting and Healthy Keto or LCHF diet and bringing the HbA1c in the rage of 4.5- 5% and May be weight to 52kg (115 pounds) in 2020. That is my New Year Resolution!!
A personal observation:
If I wish not to lose more weight all I need to do is increase my calories of protein.
Secondly I used to have some annoying floaters across field of vision in one of my eyes, most of them are gone only two are left and they are very faint.
Thirdly I had very painful lower back and upper neck(whip lash injuries) due to 2-3 Road traffic accidents (hit from behind) in the past .It is all gone I can now walk 5 miles without even getting tired.
LCHF diet really works. Fasting boosts the effect .
